Peach was good. Cold from the refrigerator. Tasted like summer.

I've really hooked into Peter Straub's--A Dark Matter. It's about high school students and a terrifying, intriguing, dark mystery  involving a sixties guru and strange mystical rites of the long past that somehow ruined these young people's lives.
Ham
Also reading Hamlet by William Shakespeare in well organized  trade paperback with good notes. An edition put out by Barnes and Noble for only $7.95, new. I like it.

Me and Roe went out to Chili's tonight. Their endless soup and salad offer is quite reasonable. The salad's decent and some of the soups quite good. I had a tasty chicken and green chile soup and a very enjoyable sweet corn soup. They consider chili, their namesake, a soup, so I had chili too, which was not at all bad.

Fun with friends at work.

Enjoying writing.

Watched some of a Rob Zombie cartoon and some of Frankenstein Girl vs. Vampire Girl. They were both amusing for a while and very creative.

I'll probably do an Abraham-Hicks vortex guided meditation soon. These are cool and make me happy. They aren't just Abraham talking--the spirit Ester Hicks channels--but involve breathing in a particular pattern that once you get used to it is very relaxing. I think you breath in for 3 seconds and breath out for 5 seconds. You follow along with the music on the CD.

It's law of attraction stuff and emphasizes the idea that physical reality is just a thought and a vibration and you can attract the vibrations to you you want.

It's a beautiful day. I've only been outside for a short while, but really enjoyed. Warm, blue sky, no humidity. It's the life!

I like the trees blowing with a slight breeze too.

Chairs-on-beach
Today I went to the beach with my wife. The water was excellent. All the little kids were running around laughing. The sky was blue.

Later, we went out to dinner at a Chinese/Japanese restaurant near us and sat outside and ate chicken with garlic sauce.

Me with broccoli.

Her with garden vegetables.

We listened to an interesting meditation music CD called Namaste. No synthesizers. Natural asian instruments and voices. Seemed connected with India, but I could have my geography wrong.

I looked over old horror movie posters, on the Internet, from movies I'd seen when I was a teenager. The posters were exciting and I remembered the flicks.Used to see double features of whatever scary cinema  came out, in Hackensack at the Oritani Theater  for cheap, almost every week. The movies weren't advertised and I'd never heard of half of them. Just these crazy, wonderful wild, thrilling stuff.

If you use StumbleUpon, you can set it to photography and come across a lot of beautiful wallpaper, intentionally made as such or not.

If the image is too small or large to fit your screen, go here and fix it, so it will.
